Esistono delle basi corrette sulle quali fondare le proprie decisioni a volte impopolari? Probabilmente sì: il cuore, la ragione, il cuore e la ragione in egual misura, l’irrazionalità. Se è corretto quindi non andare a giudicare una scelta specifica, può essere costruttivo ipotizzare in che modo questa dovrebbe essere intrapresa. Molte fabbriche ed aziende individuano esternamente il capo-reparto degli operai oppure un manager amministrativo perché i proprietari sanno che pescando dall’interno la figura ricercata si creerebbe inevitabilmente un disquilibrio di opportunità. Se il prescelto fosse selezionato dall’interno della struttura, avrebbe la capacità di richiamare all’ordine i colleghi con i quali aveva condiviso fino a ieri gli stessi problemi lavorativi o i weekend al mare? Sarebbe in grado di portare avanti senza essere condizionato dalle amicizie gli obiettivi richiesti dalla proprietà per la quale lavora? Probabilmente no.
